Recognizing Eric Yoon’s Leadership and Contribution

It is with great pleasure that we recognize Eric Yoon, a dedicated board member of the KAIPO, for his outstanding contributions to our community and his unwavering support for the new examiners.

In 2021, Eric launched the KAIPO First Year Examiner Program (KFYEP), an initiative designed to help new examiners at the Patent Training Academy transition into their new roles. By organizing thoughtful discussions with senior examiners, hosting interactive Q&A sessions, and leading engagement activities, KFYEP has become a cornerstone of support for those beginning their careers at the Office. Eric has also taken the initiative to host numerous meet-and-greet sessions, building meaningful connections and fostering opportunities for networking among members. His tireless efforts have enriched the onboarding experience for new examiners, significantly contributing to KAIPO’s growth and reinforcing a collaborative professional network. Eric’s dedication displays the values of mentorship, community, and leadership that are central to KAIPO’s mission.
