We held our annual fall picnic on 12th October, 2024. The picnic had incredibly good foods and conversations and connections between members were flowing throughout the picnic. KAIPO is sincerely grateful for all our members and friends who helped make the event so special.
A heartfelt shout-out goes to those who traveled long distances to be with us – Oh Jiyoung from TX and Lee Jangwoen from NC, whose presence added even more brightness to the day. We were equally excited to welcome many first-time attendees, including Choi Won Jun, Im Theodore, Yoon Jihyung, Glorimar Maldonado, Choi Jisun, Lee Daniel, Lee Sang C., and Lee Bryan.
We were honored to have KAIPO’s Senior Advisor and Deputy Commissioner, Charles Kim, offering guidance and mentorship to many of the attendees. We also extend a special thanks to our distinguished guests such as Han Manyeol, IP Attaché, Embassy of the Republic of Korea, and Glorimar Maldonado, Diversity Officer in OEEOD.
A very special recognition goes to Sisley Kim for her tireless efforts in preparing the food, activities, gifts, and so much more. We also extend our gratitude to Lee Byung Ro for his musical talent that breathed life into our event and also Jae Y. Lee, who was recently promoted to SPE, Jeong Moo R. (another newly promoted to SPE) and James Choi for their work at the Gogi stations, grilling the delicious Korean BBQ we all enjoyed.
