One of the goals of KAIPO is to provide mentorship and help our members grow and develop their professional careers. In light of this objective, KAIPO is pleased to announce our first Brown Bag Session: Career Development Opportunities on Wednesday, July 22 from 1:00-2:00PM (EST) via WebEx.
If you ever had questions about what career development opportunities are available to patent examiners at the USPTO; what a day in the life of a detailee is like; what responsibilities you would have as a detailee; and what you can gain from a detail experience, this is the Brown Bag Session for you!
During this Brown Bag, we will have a panel of 5 KAIPO members who were former detailees from the following detail opportunities/offices at the USPTO:
Patent Training Academy (PTA)
Office of Petitions
GS-14 Trainer
Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)
TQAS
Our panel will discuss their personal experiences as detailees, which will be followed by a Q&A session with the panelists. To better tailor the event to you, the participant, leave any questions you may have for our panelists in the comments section below ahead of the event.
